What is Six Month Smiles?

Six Month Smiles is a clear braces system that focuses on the six teeth at the front of the mouth, straightening them out in just 4-6 months. By focusing on these front teeth, Six Month Smiles can get to work more quickly, leaving the smile straighter and more uniform looking in far less time than traditional fixed braces.

Is Six Month Smiles ‘invisible’?

No – Six Month Smiles is much more subtle looking than traditional metal braces though. Made with clear brackets and tooth-coloured wires, Six Month Smiles are less noticeable than braces, although they are not ‘nearly invisible’ in the same way that aligners are.

What is the treatment process like?

You’ll have your Six Month Smiles braces applied at the practice and you will have to come in for regular check-ups. This is so that we can be sure the teeth are moving as we wish them to, and to make any adjustments to the braces that might be needed.

How long does the treatment take?

As the name implies, most patients wear their Six Month Smiles braces for six months, although it can vary from patient to patient. Most patients see results within 4-9 months.
